Faithless

Monday 9 April, 2007

All the subtle flavours of my life have become
Bitter seeds and poisioned leaves without you
You represent what’s true
I drain the colour from the sky
And turn blue without you

These arms like a purpose
flapping like a humming bird
I’m nervous cuts
I’m the left eye, you’re the right
Would it not be madness to fight?
We come one

In you the song which rights my wrongs
In you the fullness of living
The power to begin again
From right now
In you, in you, in you…

We come one
We come one
We come one

I’m unafraid
Never never scared
You always watched, pressed air
I’m the left eye, you’re the right
Would it not be madness to fight?

We come one
We come
One

I went to Sheffield on Friday to the Hallam FM Arena to see Faithless. It was amazing. The arena holds 12000 people, it wasn’t full but I think there were probably 10000 people. They played some of their new stuff but also all their classic tracks; Insomnia, We Come One (video from glastonbury above), etc. etc. We were in a seated area on the right of the stage which I thought might not be that good, however as soon as Faithless came on the stage the whole arena were on their feet jumping, bouncing, dancing! 🙂

More gigs? Yep, I’m off to London to see Amon Tobin on Wednesday and on Thursday I’m going to see Shit Disco in Bristol. Waaahooooooooo!

Over and out.

Faithless are really the spiral tribe of the commercial side of the electro scene, they are ace.
